The Turkey with the Terrible Temper

I am not really sure where this story came from, but I loved it as a kid! I just used some templates that I had made to illustrate the story. If you need a quick cute story for Thanksgiving, this is it. You can either print this or if you are in a real time crunch, just put this pdf on your iPad and you are set.

  4. This story was written by my mother Avon Compton. She had a little home business called Avonne's Story Shoppe where she sold her flannel board stories by mail.

    1. How wonderful! I love flannel board stories. And I truly adore this story about the turkey learning to control his temper. Please thank your mother for us. She is a gem.

Thank you so much for commenting. Your mother's story is so well loved, and has blessed so many children over the years. I am really glad that you let me know who wrote it, because I didn't know until now.

@ Unknown There are some versions of the story where you can put the feathers on, but I made this more like a storybook rather than a flannel board story.

  8. I used a FHE lesson similar to this years ago when my oldest kids were little. Thanks for reminding me. I plan to use this for my younger kids. :)
